 HPLC Experiments

For your HPLC experience, you have the choice of one of the following analyses to perform.  All three analyses use the same hardware and software, but have slightly different sample preparation and separation steps.  If you have another analyte you are interested in exploring, discuss the options of a new experiment with your instructor.

  • The determination of tetracycline residuals in prepared commercial milk.

  • The determination of caffeine in a beverage.

  • The determination of capsaicins in hot pepper sauce.

  • The determination of parabens in a hand lotion.
